Meet four extraordinary women who lead ordinary lives. Zaheda, Shahida, Amna, and Zahoora live behind a petrol pump in a small slum in Lucknow, India. All of them fled from their native state of Assam in search of a better life. They make their living working as maids in other peoples' homes, or as rag-pickers on the street. They have survived religious persecution, tribal violence, and communal riots. Theirs are stories of courage, bravery, perseverance and--most of all--great strength.
